Dr. James Casto, DDS

Dr. James Casto, DDS joined Avondale Dental in 2016.

Dr. James CastoDr. James Casto grew up in West Virginia and moved to Montana after graduating from dental school at West Virginia University. Following graduation and his move, Dr. Casto bought a practice in Billings where he worked for 20 years.

While working in Montana, Dr. Casto and his wife had several friends living in Coeur d’Alene. They found themselves spending more and more time driving to Coeur d’Alene to enjoy the beautiful summer weekends. So, Dr. Casto decided to sell his practice in Montana and move to Northern Idaho.

Upon meeting Dr. Robson and Dr. Wilson, Dr. Casto decided to join Avondale Dental Group in 2016. He works at Avondale Dental in Hayden and Legacy Dental in Post Falls.

Dr. Casto and his wife, Tammy, have 2 children: Madeline, a sophomore at Washington State University, and Ella, a freshman at Lake City High School. Dr. Casto and his family whitewater raft in the spring, hunt in the fall and spend time on the lake in the summer.

Dr. Casto and his family love the Northern Idaho area and are excited to be part of the community!
