Why Choose Us?

We focus on our patients from a holistic point of view, seeing the patient’s oral and facial health as a part of their overall health. I’ve been helping patients with jaw and airway issues to breathe better for over 8 years. Healthy Start is a way of setting kids off on an early path toward airway health, developing the size and dimensions of the jaw to support nasal breathing and prevent airway collapse. We also help kids’ teeth come in straight the first time, rather than letting them all erupt into a small jaw and try to compensate later for lack of space by pulling teeth or tipping them in a way that isn’t healthy for the gums or the bite. Early intervention is key. Healthy Start takes advantage of the fact that kids’ jaws are still growing and we can influence that growth (and the amount of room for incoming teeth) easily with conservative measures.
