Dr. Kory Wilson attended Lake City High School in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Washington State University in 2003.
He then enrolled at the University of Washington School of Dentistry (UWSOD) and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2007, graduating with honors.
At UWSOD, Dr. Wilson was awarded the American College of Dentists Prize for Clinical Excellence and the John D. Guthrie Memorial Prize for Clinical Restorative Dentistry. He joined Avondale Dental in 2007.
Dr. Wilson is a member of the American Dental Association, Idaho State Dental Association, and the Coeur d’Alene Restorative Study Club. He is a past president of the Idaho Panhandle Dental Society, trustee to the Idaho State Dental Association, a board member on the Hayden Chamber of Commerce, and the EXCEL Foundation, and actively involved in the Coeur Group.
He has taught at Eastern Washington University Hygiene School and volunteers his time to other organizations and events in the North Idaho community.
Dr. Martin joined Avondale Dental in September of 2012 following completion of the Idaho State University’s General Dentistry Residency Program.
This residency program consisted of post graduate training in all phases of a general dental practice, including implants, reconstruction with crowns and bridges, endodontics (root canal treatments), surgery, and of course routine dentistry for the entire family.
Katie is native to the Coeur d’Alene area. She is the daughter of Tim and Wanda Quinn, long time members of our community.
Katie graduated from Lake City High School in 2002. She attended the University of Idaho where she played for the Vandal Women’s Soccer Team, graduating in 2006. Katie then was accepted into the IDEP program, a program that is dedicated to Idaho’s top dental students.
She completed her dental training at Creighton University Dental School, graduating with Honors in 2011.
Katie is a member of the American Dental Association, the Idaho State Dental Association, the Idaho Panhandle Dental Association, and the Pinnacle Study Club.
Dr. Alexis Rollins joined the practice in 2023.
Returning home to her North Idaho roots after graduating magna cum laude from Creighton School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Rollins loves the vast array of procedures that dentistry encompasses and finds the greatest excitement in surgeries, esthetic cases, and restoring function where it was once lost.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Rollins is an avid baker, loves adventuring outdoors with her golden retriever, indulges in all things coffee, and is steadily checking off National Parks from her list of places to visit.
Dr. Osborne was born and raised in the neighboring city of Spokane, WA. In 2019, he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree as a graduate of the RIDE program at the University of Washington School of Dentistry.
From 2019-2024, Dr. Osborne served as a Lead Provider at CHAS Health, a non-profit whose goal is to bring medical care to the community. Each year, he attends several CE conferences to increase his scope of practice and better service his patients. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Idaho State Dental Association, and the Spear Study Club.
Dr. Osborne has a passion for making his patients feel at ease in the dental chair. He loves helping people regain confidence in their smile and how that positively impacts their entire life.
During his free time Dr. Osborne loves to get outside with his wife, Gabriela, and their two dogs, Gus and Hank. If they’re not skiing on the mountains in the winter or boating on the lake in the summer, they’re enjoying some other outdoor activity in Coeur D’Alene with their friends and family.
Brenna Cowan was born and raised in Hayden Lake as a proud Coeur d’Alene Viking. She attended Montana State University receiving a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Development in 2006. In 2012, she graduated from Carrington College in Dental Hygiene, becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist.
Brenna joined Avondale Dental in 2013. When she is not busy working with her wonderful staff, you will find her spending time with her husband in the great outdoors. They enjoy hiking, skiing, boating, and spending time with their families.
Brenna is a member of the Inland Northwest Hygiene Study Club and the Pinnacle Dental Hygiene Study Club.
Ellen joined the Avondale family in 2003. She was born and raised in Kellogg, Idaho. She attended Carroll College in Helena, Montana and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dental Hygiene. Upon graduation, she moved to Billings, Montana and started her career in a periodontal office. Over the next few years, she was dedicated to enhancing her clinical and diagnostic skills used to treat periodontal disease. She was able to help other hygienists in general offices improve their skills in treating periodontal disease in their own offices.
Ellen has 2 boys, Eloy and Dolan. She felt the desire to raise her boys around family, so they moved to the Coeur d’Alene area. Ellen has been involved in the Inland Northwest Hygiene Study Club for 11 years and spent 1 year on the board.
In her spare time, Ellen enjoys cooking, entertaining friends and fishing.
Shawna grew up in Hayden Lake and has been a patient of Avondale Dental Center since she was 9 years old. She graduated from Coeur d’ Alene High School in 2003 and went on to study Biology and Psychology at the University of Idaho. She then moved to Florida where she continued her education in dental hygiene.
Shawna and her husband moved back home to beautiful Coeur d’ Alene in 2015 to be close to their families. Avondale dental center is where Shawna fell in love with dentistry and is so grateful to be a part of such an incredible team. She is a part of the Inland Northwest Dental Hygiene Study Club.
When not working Shawna is spending time with her son and husband enjoying anything outdoors. They love to camp, ski, snowshoe, and travel.
Kayleigh Rickel joined the Avondale team in 2018. She was born in Richland, Washington, but moved to the Coeur d’ Alene area as a teenager. After graduating from Lakeland High School she continued her education at NIC then proceeded to graduate from Carrington College in Boise with an Associates of Science and Dental Hygiene degree in 2013. She participates in various continuing education courses to stay on top of the growing knowledge and advancements in her field.
Kayleigh is married and has a beautiful daughter. They enjoy camping, hiking, rzr riding and spending time with family and friends.
Mindy Bowmer has been working with the practice since 2018 and officially joined our team in the summer. She was born and raised just south of Coeur d’Alene and earned her Associates of Science degree from North Idaho College. Mindy went on to graduate from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2003. She has practiced clinical hygiene locally for 17 years and is excited to a part of our team!
When Mindy isn’t working, you will find her with her husband and two girls camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, or watching the girls play basketball.
Adrienne Anderson is the Chief Operating Officer for the Avondale Dental Group. In this role, Adrienne provides organizational leadership and is responsible for strategy and implementation consistent with the company’s vision.
Before joining the practice in 2017, Adrienne worked in heavy equipment and wood products manufacturing where she served as Human Resources Director and later the Director of Operations. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Montana State University in Bozeman and has been designated as a Professional in Human Resources by the HR Certification Institute.
Adrienne was raised in Bigfork, Montana and has called Hayden Lake home since 2002. When she is not in the office, you can find her at the yoga studio, enjoying the lake, or walking on the beach in Costa Rica.
